What is the time frame for deposit availability?
If your deposit is processed before 7pm EST, you should see it in your account the next day. We work on 11 PM cut offs.
What is a charge back?
A chargeback is a transaction that is disputed by a customer. Frequent chargebacks negatively affect your ability to access credit. We have an in-house chargeback team to help you mediate disputes.
After setup, when will I be able to accept payments?
For online accounts, you should be able to process the next business day assuming we have all your business info correctly entered into our system. For retail customers, our goal is to schedule service and have the card processing device of your choice in your hands within four business days.
My other payment processor is still charging me, despite setting up service with FMS. Can they legally do that?
Yes, it is your responsibility as the merchant to contact your former card processing company to cancel your service. As services usually run month to month, we advise you to cancel the service as soon as FMS has completed your new card processing setup.
